This research study has been conducted to examine the impact of air pollution on asthma patients. Asthma is a disease syndrome that has captured a great deal of attention for several years for discussion. Air pollution is convincingly associated with many signs of asthma aggravation. This study was quantitative and uses a cross-sectional research approach where the data was collected using a simple random approach from 200 MBBS students of age 19-28 years (58 female and 142 males) in the industrial city of Sialkot using a well-structured questionnaire as a tool of data collection. The primary data was collected and pass-through statistical software i.e. SPPS and AMOS and the analysis has been performed in the form of tables. The analysis through confirmatory factor confirms that a significant association between air pollution on asthma patients exists. Pearson Product Moment Correlation" was run to check the association between the variables. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR] |
