Abstrakt:	The article discusses a case of kidney impairment in a child with acute-subacute paracoccidioidomycosis (PCM) and explores the association between the two conditions. It mentions that the kidney biopsy results suggest a diagnosis of IgA nephropathy (IgAN). It also presents hypotheses regarding the pathogenesis of IgAN in this context and discusses the absence of recurrence of IgAN during the follow-up period.
