Local wisdom-based learning to develop student's creativity in high school physics studies course.

Abstrakt: Creativity is a competency that must be possessed by student's to be able to compete globally in the 21st century. These competencies can be trained through classroom learning activities. The purpose of this study was to describe the learning process based on local wisdom to develop student's creativity in high school physics courses. This type of research is descriptive quantitative. The subjects of this study were 27 people in the 5th semester at one of the universities in Mataram. Learning is done online through LMS (Learning Management System) for 8 meetings. The instrument used was a student's creativity observation sheet, with an assessment using a scale of 4. The increase in student's creativity from the first meeting to the last meeting was obtained through the N-gain equation. The number of local wisdom that has been identified and analyzed by student's through interviews, books, and scientific articles is 17 types of local wisdom that are in accordance with the concept of science in physics subjects in high school. The average value of student's creativity is 3.38 (good category), with an N-gain value of 86 (high criteria). Thus, learning based on local wisdom can develop student's creativity in high school physics courses. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]
