Abstrakt: An electric generator is a device that functions as a source of electrical energy. Electric generators are usually used when electricity from PLN is off or in areas with minimal electricity. The purpose of this study is to create a portable micro generator that can be transported and utilized as an alternative energy source in a tourism region in Sembalun Village, East Lombok, with little electricity. This research is development research with the method stages, namely problem analysis, tool specifications, tool design, and tool testing. The portable mini generator trial uses four lamps with a power of 4, 7, 9, and 15 watts respectively. The results of this test show that all the lights are brightly lit. The input voltage of 12 Volt DC from the battery is converted to 13 volt AC using an inverter circuit and is increased by a step-up transformer to 190 volt AC as the output voltage. This shows that mini portable generators can be used as alternative energy in low-electricity tourist areas in Lombok. Of course, this generator may still be tweaked to increase the output voltage by using the same materials but with various material values. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]
