Abstrakt: Three Trichoderma spp. species were identified from cultivated paprika (T-pap), vanilla (T-van), and peanut (T-kc) crops in the Lombok area and evaluated for their antagonistic activity against Fusarium oxysporum. The isolates were tested against a fungal pathogen in dual culture, as well as their resistance to five fungicides and the generation of volatile and non-volatile inhibitors. Those isolates were cultivated on agar medium before the assessment and revealed that after 3 days of incubation, they expanded quite quickly. They were able to compete potently against the fungal pathogen in an in-vitro test in dual culture. After 4 days of incubation, the agent Trichoderma paprika isolate (T-pap) inhibited the most mycelial fungal pathogen growth, followed by vanilla (T-van) and peanut (T-kc) isolates. The volatile compound generated by Trichoderma from peanut (T-kc) consistently induced greater mycelial growth inhibition of the pathogen after 5, 7, and 9 days, whereas the isolate of T-pap consistently provided lower mycelial growth inhibition of the pathogen. After 7 days of incubation, the non-volatile compound formed by T-pap inhibited mycelial development substantially more than T-kc and T-van. Local Trichoderma spp. were extremely resistant to all of the fungicides tested, with the exception of Daconil. Therefore, Trichoderma spp. from Lombok has the capacity to inhibit the mycelial fungal pathogen F. oxysporum's proliferation in vitro. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]
