Abstrakt: Indocyanine green (ICG) fluorescent-guided surgery is a promising field with increasing use in colorectal surgery. Finally, bowel perfusion assessment using ICG during left-sided colectomies might be beneficial by changing the surgical plan and potentially lowering anastomotic leak rates [[4]]. In Video S1 we demonstrate a robotic sigmoidectomy incorporating triple use of ICG in order to identify the ureters, to localize the tumour and to assess bowel perfusion. [Extracted from the article]
