In the field of education, online learning during pandemic Covid-19 was not only applied to regular classes, but in the Japanese Literature department of Bina Nusantara University, online learning was also applied to kaiwa club activities. This research looked at the technical aspects of implementing an online kaiwa club and also distributed an preliminary survey to student kaiwa club participants regarding how effectively kaiwa club was conducted online. The concept used is the concept of E-learning and conversation teaching method. The method used is descriptive analysis with a qualitative approach. The results showed that technically the kaiwa club has a regular schedule once a week, with 50 participants, consisting of three classes (pre-basic, basic and intermediate), and with different themes and teaching methods at each level. Meanwhile, the results of the preliminary survey showed that taking part in kaiwa club helped the majority of students to understand Japanese language skill courses in regular classes.
