| Abstrakt: | The article discusses the extent to which gaps in the law concerning liability for artificial intelligence (AI) systems are closed by the proposals for an AI Liability Directive and a new Product Liability Directive and identifies the need for more ambitious legislative acts. The Commission's proposals reduce the liability gap existing under law, especially regarding the requirements for proving liability, but they do not close the substantive liability gap existing in fault-based liability. |
