Abstrakt: The general principles of renewable energy in Ukraine and the state of small hydropower, the number of commissioned stations of their total capacity, and energy production are covered. The formulation of the task for the study of the energy ind icators of a small multi-unit hydroelectric power plant under different initial parameters of the river flow is outlined. The main provisions and principles of the research are determined. The research was conducted using long-term statistical data of river runoff flows in the form of the three-parameter Krytskyi-Menkel gamma distribution. The algorithm for calculating the energy parameters of the annual output of a small multi-unit hydroelectric power plant with the contribution to the output of each individual unit, determining the coefficient factor of the installed capacity of a small hydroelectric power plan t under different initial conditions, as well as the duration of operation of the hydroelectric power station per year, is defined. Energy dependences of hydroelectric power plant production on its capacity under different initial hydrological conditions characterizing different water content of the river flow are constructed. Quantitative values of the required energy indicators were obtained and recommendations were established regarding the rational number of aggregates in the composition of the hydroelectric power station for different variants of the water content of the river rate.
