| Abstrakt: | The article provides five tips for artists to create chromatic color palettes for landscape paintings that are considered "colorless."It includes starting with value structure, translating temperature into color, determining the emphasis of each color, exaggerating the chroma of key spots, and using glazing to build chroma. Artist Barbara Jaenicke suggests that artists must first analyze the visual dynamics occurring within the landscape and then translate that optical excitement. |
