| Abstrakt: |
Hypothermia is a medical condition in which the body’s core temperature is abnormally low and may interfere with physiologic processes. It may be accidental or secondary to other medical conditions. The body has many methods in place to maintain core temperature within a strict range for optimal function. When these processes are disrupted, complications including dysrhythmias, neurologic decline, cardiac arrest and frostbite may occur.
