Abstrakt:	The article discusses the work of Indonesian-born, Chicago-based artist Leonard Suryajaya, who creates highly stylized tableaux featuring family and friends. His work engages with themes of identity, belonging, and family relationships, drawing from his experiences of being marked as "other" and his upbringing in a Chinese Buddhist household in Indonesia.
