Abstrakt: The article focuses on the possibilities and limitations of distance foreign language teaching during the COVID-19 pandemic in Germany. Topics include the experiences of Spanish and French teachers; change in the education system due to school closures required new forms of teaching and learning, including digital communication, interaction, and organization; and digitalization of the teaching and learning process led to the rethinking, planning, and execution of foreign language teaching.
