Abstrakt: 1. Clinical and roentgenologic features of 23 cases of reversible vascular occlusion of the colon are presented. 2. Clinical features of abdominal pain, rectal bleeding, and a paucity of signs are combined with the radiologic demonstration of pseudotumors. 3. As symptoms subside the pseudotumors disappear. The colon picture may rapidly return to normal or pass through an ulcerative colitis pattern. On rare occasion stenosis has been the end result. 4. It is emphasized that the progress of vascular occlusion of the colon cannot be predicted on initial roentgenographic examination. If symptoms persist surgical intervention is indicated.
