Abstrakt: Cannabidiol (CBD) is one of the major ingredients found in Cannabis. It has become of medical value due to containing various pharmacological properties such as analgesic, anti-hypertensive, anti-inflammatory, and especially anti-cancer effects. For a more in-deep understanding of the CBD mechanism associated with cancer, the authors had demonstrated the potential of CBD against various cancer types, especially the signaling pathway underlying of CBD's potential as an anticancer agent based on in vitro and in vivo studies. The present article provided information on how CBD can interact with many forms of cellular targeting that contributed to the modulation of the notable cancer pathway, such as MAPK, PI3K, and Wnt signaling pathways. These would lead to inhibiting cell survival, inducing apoptosis, exerting a cytotoxic effect, or arresting the cycle of cancer cells. Furthermore, the present article had been carried out on the pre-clinical data possibility of CBD as a natural plant for their anticancer property. However, demand further scientific research is needed. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]
