Finishing products from synthetic sapphire with the application of the vortex cavitation effect.

Abstrakt: The development of laser, optical and optoelectronic technologies is one of the priority tasks being implemented by the Ministry of Industry and Trade of the Russian Federation. The search for resources increasing labor efficiency in the manufacture of parts with an accuracy quality of seventh and lower, such as optical products and sapphire substrates is an urgent scientific and technological task. The technological processes of their production are multi-step and involve labor-intensive finishing operations, which in most cases are performed manually with free abrasive. The investigated method of finishing machine parts with a free abrasive is able to increase labor efficiency through the use of unique hydrodynamic conditions developed in quoting media carrying abrasive particles with a high uniformity of distribution.
