To assess the fire resistance of rolled metal products, the article presents the results of full-scale fire tests of steel structures for construction purposes. No. 20B1 welded beams made of S390P industrial rolled and sheet steel, the chemical composition of which includes a microalloying composition based on Cr–Mo–V–Nb–B, were chosen as samples to assess fire resistance. The results of fire tests allow us to conclude that S390P steel is more resistant to fire in fire conditions compared to ordinary construction rolled products S255 and S355 and recommend it for use as fire-resistant.
