There are various Stratification in old and present human society such as the class of slaves, class of Shooder, class of Brehman, class of Former, class of Blacksmith etc but in Islamic Shariʽah the concept of social Stratification does not axcist at all. Islam gives equall rights to all kinds of people. Even if he is poor or rich, ignoble offer noble. The only criteria upon which a person is to be judged is "Taqwaah" i.e piety. Allah mentioned this principle in the Holy Qur᾽an in Surah Al-Ḥujrāt "O mankind Lo! We have created you male and female, and have made you Nations and tribes that ye may know one another. Lo! the noblest of you, in the sight of Allah, is the best in conduct. Lo! Allah is Knower, Aware". [Surah Al-Ḥujrāt. 49:13] To eliminate the virtues and classifications on the basis of race, region, colour, language and calling, Islam teaches us that you are all born from Adam and Eve. In the present world all such Stratifications on the basis of race and calling etc are Satan's manipulations and inexpedient superstition of human mind. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR] |
