The article presents a study, which applied the Theory of Planned Behaviour (TPB) to assess teachers' technology attitudes. During the study, six teachers participated in semi-structured interviews, and teachers at four schools completed a follow-up, a 45-item questionnaire. TPB provides a basis for examining the cognitive foundation for behavioural decisions. The study suggested that TPB offers researchers fruitful avenues in examining teachers' decision-making processes, particularly in regard to technology use. The authors encourage researchers to use this model in assessing teachers' attitude towards technology and begin to explore new applications of the model. |
