Abstrakt: An endoscopic resection of small GIST lesions, in experienced centers, has also been described in the literature.[1]-[3] Even though GIST of the small intestines usually require simple intestinal resection and anastomosis, when situated in the stomach, resection and reconstruction could be sometimes challenging. This could be performed in an open approach, or minimally invasive techniques (laparoscopy or robotic) with either a stapled wedge gastrectomy, transgastric technique, or intragastric technique.[1]-[3] The only precaution to be taken is not to stenose the GEJ while trying to achieve a complete resection of the tumor.
