Abstract—The results of laboratory studies of the tribological characteristics of a new plastic lubricant based on Solidol Zh lubricant and a polyurea thickener, which provides an increase in the drop temperature to 118°C, and a complex of additives are presented. The proposed lubricant is found to be operable over a wider temperature range, to impart higher antiwear properties to tribounit parts, and to significantly decrease the friction losses during boundary lubrication as compared to the original Solidol Zh plastic lubricant. The developed lubricant composition is supposed to be used in the operation of road construction machines under the tropical conditions of Vietnam. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR] |
