Abstrakt: Flight or car simulator is a system that is conditioned for the user as if doing a real movement. This condition is assisted by the movement of the simulator frame. In general, the simulator frame moves in two movements, namely pitch and roll motion. This study discusses the construction design of the 2 DoF frame simulator, which uses two DC electric motors from the car wiper motor as the actuator. Actuator motion controlled by a system that uses a gyro as a sensor. The sensor is applied to the Remote-Control Vehicle. So that when the gyro position changes, the signal will be processed by the controller to move the simulator frame, to produce a position like the position of the Remote-Control Vehicle. From the results of the design and selected materials, the simulator frame construction has dimensions of 600 mm x 420 mm x 1200 mm and weight ±35 kg. With assuming static load on the frame 150 kg, the results from software analysis obtained a frame safety factor 1,75 with a maximum stress 116,16 N/mm2, a safety factor Coupler simulator frame 2,5 with a maximum stress 247,3 N/mm2, and the safety factor on the crank 25,17 with a maximum stress 24,64 N/mm2. So, the structure is still within safe limits. The control system uses the MPU6050 gyro sensor, Arduino Uno, 2 BTS7960 motor drivers, and 2 wiper motors to produce pitch and roll motion on the simulator frame. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]
