Abstrakt: The article determines the effect of angiotensin on aldosterone secretion in the sheep when the animals were sodium replete and aldosterone secretion was at a low level, and when aldosterone secretion was increased moderately by sodium depletion. The findings are compared with those obtained during infusion of angiotensin or sheep into sodium depleted sheep renin with aldosterone secretion made basal by hypophysectomy and bilateral nephrectomy. Four sets of results were obtained, intra-arterial or intravenous infusion in the sodium replete or sodium depleted condition.
