Abstrakt: Rocks will undergo a weathering process due to the influence of the atmosphere and the hydrosphere. This weathering process produces weathering zones that are formed in gradations. This change produces geochemical values that change as well. In certain zones, avalanche slip planes are formed. So it is necessary to study the changes in geochemical values along with changes in the weathering zone. Changes in rock geochemical values will be correlated with the position of the slip plane. The method used in the research is the method in the field and in the laboratory. Sampling in the field is based on the weathering zone, then the sample is analyzed by XRF to get the value of the major elements according to the weathering zone. From the research, it was found that the change in SiO2 value decreased, then Al2O3 increased, CaO decreased until weathering zone IV then stagnates until weathering zone VI. Then the other major elements are relatively the same. The slip plane is located in zones 3 and 4 so that the relationship between the geochemical composition and the slip plane zone can be explained. This research has not been done much related to the relationship between the developed geochemical composition and the formed slip plane. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]
