Abstrakt: |
It is well‐known that a neurodivergent approach to pedagogy is grounded in universal design principles for learning (UDL). Given the pace and volume of the curricula in health professions programs, the use of UDL principles in the classroom is imperative to support students with disabilities (SWD). When instructors draw on principles of UDL and the learning sciences, they enhance learning opportunities while honoring the time barriers that may deter them from implementing new teaching practices.
