Abstrakt: The U.S. Census predicts that the number of people over 65 will rise from its level of 12% in 2000 to 20% by 2030. Currently, one-quarter of all American households have responsibility for caring for an adult over 50. There are several options for adults who need professional care. Some services can be provided at home, while other seniors' needs might be better met in an assisted living or nursing facility. The Web sites described in this article explain care options and how to evaluate care providers. Several sites provide directories of providers as well. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]
