The article examines the issues of the concept of universal design in providing the workplace microclimate for people with disabilities in Ukraine, which provides effective work in the workplace. The organization of the workplace micro climate for people with disabilities is a task for the head of the enterprise with increased complexity, because it requires an individual approach to each employee and using the latest ergonomic solutions. The individual approach involves determining the functional capabilities of the person during the operation of the equipment, taking into account its physiological and psychophysiological features. The main purpose of the article is to define the concept of universal design in providing the workplace microclimate for people with disabilities and to develop areas and opportunities for the using of the latest measures of ergodesign. The analysis is based, inter alia, on the processing of research by scientists and the use of leading scientific research methods, including method of comparison, which helped to highlight the main objectives of this topic, and to determine the main directions of their solution. The results of the research were the definition of the concept of universal design in providing the workplace microclimate and labour efficiency for people with disabilities, which allowed to form new directions of universal design in solving this problem. The scientific novelty lies in the formation of the concept of universal design in providing the workplace microclimate for people with disabilities, which will ensure the efficiency of its work.
