Whereas the Atlantic is themost desirable on the short T57 S chassis, the Aravis isconsidered the Holy Grail on the regular T57 chassis. Standingat the bottom of the stairs are the Atalante, Stelvio,Ventoux, Galibier and Aravis: the Type 57 family asJean Bugatti had envisaged it. Usually Bugatti wouldpay its contracted coachbuilders for the bodywork; not sofor the Aravis made by Letourneur et Marchand, forwhich Bugatti opted simply to deliver rolling chassis.
