One of the challenges in achieving goals in knowledge-based companies is employee turnover. Using the appropriate leadership style is one of the solutions. So this research investigates the effect of a supportive leadership style on the turnover intention of employees, emphasizing the mediating role of organizational commitment and job satisfaction. A descriptive-survey research method was adopted and the study population consisted of all employees and professionals working in technological and knowledge-based companies located in Yazd Science and Technology Park and Pardis Technology Park. The sample size was 138 people according to the Green table and was selected by random sampling. The standard questionnaires of the Leader Behavior Description Questionnaire (LBDQ), the organizational commitment of Balfour and Kessler, the job satisfaction of Minnesota, and the turnover intention of Moghimi were used to collect data. The reliability and validity of the questionnaires were accepted through Cronbach's alpha coefficient and composite reliability coefficient, as well as content and construct validity. Statistical analysis was conducted using structural equation modeling with Partial Least Squares and through Smart PLS software. The supportive leadership style, both directly and indirectly through mediating variables of the research, has a significant negative effect on the turnover intention of employees in such a way that the indirect effect is more than its direct effect.
