Abstrakt:	The article focuses on the U.S. progress in mandating patient access to electronic health information (EHI) after the Office of the National Coordinator for Health Information Technology's information blocking and interoperability roadmap enforcement. Topics include the expected influx of patient requests for EHI education and data quality; and United Kingdom's struggles with establishing a national mandate for patient access to records.
