Abstrakt: In recent years, significant growth in various invasive weeds has been observed throughout the world. These invasive weeds create different kinds of impacts on the ecosystem. The critical issue of invasive weeds is their growth rate. The exponential growth of invasive weeds leads to the reduction of fertile lands, fertility strength of the land, harmful to aquatic life as it reduces the oxygen content of water and sunlight contact. Directly and indirectly invasive weeds are hazardous to human and aquatic life, and also their decomposition is energy and cost-intensive. Thus proper utilization of invasive weeds is a need of ours. Researchers worldwide have addressed this issue and obtained valuable products from invasive weeds, i.e., waste, in the last few years. This valuable product can be obtained through either fermentation route such as bio-ethanol/butanol or pyrolysis route such as bio-oil etc. However, both these processes are not cost-effective to produce the products economically. Thus, in this work, we are targeted to convert the waste (invasive weeds) to the valuable product such as carbon. Carbonization was performed at different temperatures to obtain the different materials. Finally, the adsorption has been checked, and it can be utilized for the effluent coming from mainly textile industries. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]
