Abstrakt: As a multitude of factors drive increasing numbers of patients to pursue minimally invasive cosmetic dental procedures, dentists and their laboratory ceramist colleagues are challenged to undertake conservative esthetic treatments in the most responsible, longlasting, and predictable manner possible. Fortunately, a variety of all-ceramic materials--such as feldspathic porcelain, leucite-reinforced glass ceramic, and lithium disilicate--combined with advances in adhesive and fabrication techniques, now enable them to predictably provide no-prep and ultra-thin veneers that preserve enamel and transform smiles. This article discusses key characteristics of no-prep veneer treatment planning, including proper diagnosis, case selection, and clinical protocols. Significant considerations are illustrated photographically and in case presentations. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]
