Abstrakt: The family, the educational system, the environment and other protective factors remain the main influences on preventing children from deviant and criminal acts. The influence of social factors such as the family, the children's education, school premises, society and mass media are direct and very powerful in children. So it is very important for them to play their role in positive sense on children's development in order protect the children and prevent child delinquency. Therefore, to see the role of the aforementioned factors for this research question a survey is conducted with aged 15-18 years high school students. The targeted category represents children who may appearas "Children at risk" or "Children in conflict with the law". The study has its importance because the data results from the survey supports the scientific hypotheses regarding the role and the importance that some of the social factors have on preventing child delinquency and also their emergence as risk factors in this phenomena. Also the results from the survey are interesting because they show some detailed information about how the children see or feel the protective/risk factors dealing with deviant behavior. Their security against this behavior and criminal acts allows them to answer the question on how much they are informed about the legal treatment of child delinquency in Republic of North Macedonia.
