The Indonesian Democracy Index is a number that shows the level of development of democracy in all provinces in Indonesia and for formulating planning programs in political development. This study aims to classify the Democracy Index by province in Indonesia. The data used in this study is secondary data obtained from the Central Statistics Agency in 2020. This study obtained the results that there are 4 clusters in the Indonesian Democracy Index classification, namely cluster 1 consisting of Papua Barat Province and Papua Province. Then cluster 2 consists of the provinces of Aceh, Sumatera Utara, Sumatra Selatan, Bengkulu, Kepulauan Riau, Jawa Timur, Banten, Bali, Nusa Tenggara Timur (NTT), Kalimantan Tengah, Sulawesi Utara, Sulawesi Tengah, Sulawesi Tenggara, Sulawesi Barat, Maluku and Maluku Utara. Cluster 3 consists of the provinces of Riau, Jambi, Kepualauan Bangka Belitung, DKI Jakarta, DI Yogyakarta, Nusa Tenggara Barat (NTB), Kalimantan Barat, Kalimantan Timur, Kalimantan Utara and Gorontalo.
