Organizational Modernization and Innovative Training Practices: A Relational Model of Study.

Abstrakt: The present article - resultant of a wider research that culminated in a doctorate thesis - intends to investigate the relations among the following variables: Organizational Modernity (GMO) and Innovation of Training, Development and Educational Practices (GIT). Starting with a sample of 595 professionals regularly enrolled in “lato-sensu” (specialization) masters’ degree programs in business administration, offered by several institutions of higher education located in the metropolitan area of Belo Horizonte (MG). This research is based on a quantitative content; data collection was accomplished through theoretical questionnaires that contemplated studies on training, development and education developed, as well as studies on organizational modernity developed. The collected data was submitted to statistical treatment that involved the use of descriptive techniques and multivariate analysis. The results revealed a positive and intense relationship among the degree of organizational modernity and the degree of innovation of training, development and educational practices.
