Analysis of science literacy ability of science education study program students in terms of ability to answer minimum competency assessment (AKM) questions for class VII junior high school.

Abstrakt: This study aims to describe the reading literacy of seventh grade junior high school students and fifth semester science education students in solving science problems through the Minimum Competency Assessment (AKM) questions. This research is a quantitative descriptive study involving 248 respondents consisting of 166 seventh grade students of junior high school and 82 fifth semester students of Science Education Study Program. The research instrument used was a test sheet that included indicators of reading literacy ability which consisted of eight main questions with multiple choice and complex multiple-choice questions. The questions on the instrument include literacy questions on infographics, narrative literacy, and table data literacy. The results showed that the reading literacy of the fifth semester students of the Science Education Study Program on this topic were not significantly better than the literacy skills of seventh grade students of junior high school.
