The achievement of the skills in designing research and compiling results of high school students on waste material through the authentic research program.

Abstrakt: The achievement of the skills in designing research and compiling reports on the results of students' research on waste learning through authentic research programs are revealed in this study. Those research design skills covered skills in compiling a research design consisting of ten indicators. Meanwhile, the skill of compiling research reports in question is writing scientific papers in the form of research reports consisting of eight indicators. This study employed an experimental method with pre-experimental design one-shot case study engaged 45 students of tenth grader who were divided into 13 groups. The data was obtained from the product performance reports of research design group and the research result group. Both performance product data were analyzed by identifying each indicator and adjusting it to the rubric category that had been developed, and then the students' scores were converted into scores. The results showed that 23% of the research design skills were in the good category, 62% in the sufficient category, and 15% in the poor category, while 31% of the compile research reports skill was in the good category, 38% in the sufficient category, and 31% in the poor category. Based on the findings, it can be concluded that the students' achievement is in the highest percentage in the sufficient category for each type of skill. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]
