Abstrakt: This article presents information related to a study on examining radioimmunoassay for Follicle Stimulating Hormone (FSH). The role of FSH in the cycle is still uncertain in case of the scarcity of information concerning plasma levels. Only two radioimnumoassay methods for measuring ovine FSH (OFSH) have been published and both of these report figures only for FSH levels in pituitary extracts. In this study sensitivity was defined as the hormone concentration corresponding to the lower 97.5% confidence limit of the number of counts bound in the absence of unlabelled hormone.
