Impact of Pranayama on Health Care.

Abstrakt: This review summarizes the status of the impact of pranayama on health care. Thousands of years ago yoga originated in India, and in the present day and age, an alarming awareness was observed health and natural remedies among people through yoga and pranayama. Pranayama is a main component of yoga and it is the practice of breath regulation and has been proven as an effective method for improving health and addition to prevention and management of diseases. With increasing scientific research in yoga, its healing aspects are also being explored. Yoga is reported to reduce stress and anxiety, improve autonomic functions by triggering neurohormonal mechanisms by the suppression of sympathetic activity, and even, nowadays, several reports suggested yoga is beneficial for the physical health of cancer patients and pranayama for breathing-related diseases.
