| Abstrakt: | A biography of crime fiction author Rolando Hinojosa is presented. Hinojosa was born in the lower Rio Grande Valley town of Mercedes, Texas on January 21, 1929 to Manuel Guzman Hinojosa and Carrie Effie Smith. He earned a master's degree from New Mexico Highlands University and completed a doctorate in English at the University of Illinois in Champaign-Urbana. His novels "Partners in Crime" and "Ask a Policeman" are discussed. |
