A biography of crime fiction author Agatha Christie is presented. Christie was born Agatha Mary Miller just outside Torquay, England on September 15, 1890 to Frederick Alvah Miller and Clarissa Margaret Beohmer Miller. Her principal series characters include Hercule Poirot, Captain Arthur Hastings, and Superintendent Battle. Her contribution is cited. Also noted is an analysis of her works such as "The Mysterious Affair at Styles," "Red Herrings and Plain Evidence," and "Ordeal by Innocence." |
