Abstrakt: Disturbances of potassium equilibrium have also been linked to other neuromuscular diseases, such as a report of two patients with inflammatory bowel disease (IBD), hypokalemia, and myopathy (CK: 10,246 and 8499 U/l) [[11]]. In summary, considering that we have found two patients with secondary PP out of 400 IBD patients seen in 2013, we estimate its prevalence to be 0.5%. [Extracted from the article]
