Abstrakt: The reaction of late white cabbage, carrot, and table beet to the rates of applied mineral fertilizers based on soil and plant diagnostics of nutrition was revealed as a result of laboratory and field studies in 2015–2020. The analysis of soil and leaf petioles for the content of nutrients in the middle of the growing season enabled significant adjustment of rates of root fertilizing of plants to improve the quality of products. This is very important during the transition to green technologies of cultivating vegetable crops. The studies were performed by conventional methods on alluvial meadow medium loamy soils of the Moskva River floodplain (Ramenskii raion, Moscow oblast), which are typical for vegetable farms of the Moscow region. It is revealed that the main spring application of the calculated fertilizer rate is more cost-effective for late white cabbage (the hybrid Kontinent F1) and table beet (the variety Karina): the yield increase is 30 and 31%, the profit is 363 000 and 276 000 rubles/ha, and the profitability is 113 and 114%, respectively. Carrot may be fertilized by half NPK rate for the main application and subsequent application of fertilizer at the stage of the beginning of the development of root crops (the first 10-day period of July) according to soil analysis. This provides an increase in the yield by 23%, the profit of 415 000 rubles/ha, and the profitability of 197%. Supplementary fertilization of plants with nitrogen-potassium fertilizers at the stage of the beginning of the formation of root crops or head formation (first 10-day period of July) on the background of the main application of half NPK rate does not cause poorer biochemical quality of vegetable products and provides a decrease in the content of nitrates. The economic results are the best in case of fertilizing during the growing period on the basis of soil diagnostics. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]
