It is shown that fused deposition modeling 3D-printing technology is a promising method for manufacturing master models for foundry production of engineering products. The resistance of samples of master models to moisture was studied. The influence of 3D-printing modes on the antiadhesion properties to silicone and the moisture resistance of master models has been experimentally established. Recommendations are presented on 3D-printing modes that provide minimal sticking of silicone and the best moisture resistance of master models. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR] |
