Pests have plagued crops, leading to a decrease in yields. Farmer used pesticides, but it caused harmful effects. In Indonesia, pesticide application is still man-dependent. The survey was conducted with 21 respondents to identify agricultural problems and the process of spraying pesticides. Uneven distribution (43%) was the ultimate respondent problem, and the cost-efficient and effective for going through difficult paths (24.29%) is the most priority when buying a spraying drone. Affordability, effectivity, practicality, and suitability for hilly terrain were among the requirements of this survey. This study examines the development of a biopesticide quadcopter drone made out of thermoplastic with remote control. The biopesticide tank is of thermoplastic materials with an 8-liter capacity strong enough to a heavy shock with a tensile strength of 3.5 GPA. The drone hosts a battery of 15000 mAh, giving it around 15-20 minutes of fly time. The camera has a 720p resolution. The product's (drone) positioning is comparable in many parameters with the other existing products. This product scored an average of 4 out of 5, showing that it is compatible with competing in the market. This final product is based on the customer's needs from pre-commissioning, benchmarking, and concept testing. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR] |
