Abstrakt: Presents a study which examined the mitochondrial function and production of reactive oxygen species in the atherosclerosis-susceptible, hypercholesterolemic low density lipoprotein (LDL) receptor knockout mice. Results of the isolation of mitochondria from the LDL mice; Oxidizing of pyridine nucleotides in LDL receptor knockout mouse; Secretion and synthesis of triglycerides and cholesterol in the livers of hypercholesterolemic low density lipoprotein (LDL) receptor knockout mice.
