The article reports that primary healthcare in Australia principally via general practice is the main determinant of effective and equitable healthcare for the entire population. Topics include examines planning for an adequate general practitioner workforce remains a challenging balancing act between demand and supply and the Australian general practice continues to evolve in a changing political and social context, in which GP deals with an ageing population with more chronic conditions. |
