This study investigates the experiences of two music educators/researchers across new spaces of teaching and learning related to holistic education. Narrative perspectives are derived from stories of experience, conversations, and interviews - where issues arising from a global pandemic are deconstructed as music instruction moves online. Themes emerge from a framework of critical friendship protocol, postmodern feminist theory, and holistic perspectives related to music education. Results suggest new practices in music education can embrace embodied learning holistically, recognize and compensate for new delivery platforms, and provide some meaningful and authentic classroom experiences.
