In the experiment, nine strains of Candida utilis as the starting strains, through comprehensive analysis of carbon source, nitrogen source utilization and protein content, a strain with better comprehensive performance was selected as the starting strain for 12C6+ ion beam irradiation mutagenesis and screening of mutant strains with high protein content. The results showed that nine strains of Candida utilis were systematically scored by the method of weighted average, and Candida utilis CGMCC2.2878 was screened out as the starting strain for subsequent mutation breeding, which was subjected to heavy ion mutagenesis, the mutant strain with higher protein content was obtained by screening, named Y-4-2, and its protein content was as high as 63.06%, which was 20.60% higher than that of the starting strain of 52.29%. The study indicates that the isolated strain is expected to be used in fermentation production of bacterial protein feed. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR] |
