A direct examination with a sample of the fungal colony stained with Nankin ink also revealed the presence of capsules (Fig. 1c) lymph nodes showed oval structures with capsules, suggestive of I Cryptococcus i sp. Cytological examination by FNA in submandibular (B) and popliteal (C) lymph nodes, by rapid panotype staining revealed oval structures with capsules (arrows, 100 ×), suggestive of Cryptococcus sp.
